Our Vision
The purpose of Commonwealth Baptist College is simple. We are here to train the next generation of Christian soul winners to serve the Lord in the power of the Holy Spirit. We are training pastors, teachers, missionaries, musicians, and faithful church members who will serve where God places them. We believe one life, fully yielded to God, can make a difference. God is still looking for someone who will stand in the gap. He has not stopped calling, and He has not lowered His standard. The question is not whether God is looking. The question is whether we are willing.
At Commonwealth Baptist College, we are training servants who are surrendered to God’s will and committed to His work. Others have made a difference, and by God’s grace, so can you. David did. Paul did. And God is still using people today who are willing to give Him their lives.
Clays Mill Baptist Church and Commonwealth Baptist College may be young in years, but we are not new in what we believe. We are old-fashioned in our convictions. This is not a business. This is a ministry. We still believe the Bible works. The same message and the same methods found in the book of Acts still reach people today. Our church has seen God work in starting churches and sending out laborers, and the college has helped strengthen that effort by training young people to go and do the same.
Here, students do not just hear about ministry. They take part in it. They serve in Sunday school, bus routes, soul winning, missions, youth work, music, and many other areas. You will have the opportunity not only to be involved but also to learn how to lead. God is using this ministry to make a difference in Kentucky and beyond, and we are grateful to be a part of it.
If God has placed a desire in your heart to serve Him, we invite you to come train with us. Give God your life. Let Him use you. And one day, you will be able to look back and say that by His grace, your life made a difference.
